When you lift your wrist to be in line with your eyesight, the time appears. A large button below the display lets you cycle through other screens, as well as enter and exit workout mode. One press shows your PAI score for the last seven days. Two presses pulls up your PAI score for the day. Three presses brings up your heart rate. And a long press toggles in and out of workout mode for tracking specific activities. Aside from measuring PAI, the Slice tracks steps, distance, calories burned, and sleep (deep sleep, light sleep, and awake time). It also delivers push notifications for calls and texts. The battery is rechargeable, and the Slices comes with a USB charging cradle. One full charge should last four or five days. Syncing is wireless, and it requires a mobile device. While the Slice works with both Android and iOS devices, the compatibility list isn't all that extensive. It work with the iPhone 5s and later. **For Android, Mio only lists definite compatibility with the Google Nexus 5, 5x, 6, and 6p; and the Samsung Galaxy S5, S6, S7, and Note 5.
